Hubby is goneAnd I’m exposing my backside

Well, hubby left yesterday and will be gone ALL week. If your thinking… wasn’t he going out of town the last week of the month… don’t worry, so was I! It wasn’t until Thursday evening that he said something about leaving Sunday afternoon and I discovered that, oh my gosh, I have had the dates mixed up all. this. time. Oops. I’m like that. I mix dates up or completely forget things all together. Another example… my doctors appointment isn’t today (like I thought it was), it’s tomorrow. Glad I checked on on that, I once showed up for an appointment two weeks early. Anyhow, Grandma is going to watch the boys for me tomorrow because I get the whole strip down into nothin but a thin and way-to-small-gown that barely covers my frontside leaving the backside uncomfortably exposed routine. Should be fun.

As for today, I’m going to try and keep busy… I’m starting the boys on a unit study on babies and on Friday we will be taking a field trip to the hospital nursery (if I make it to Friday). Maybe we’ll throw in a few extra projects this week to keep us occupied. Not that it’s much of a surprise, but I cried when hubby left (a couple times). I have to tell you all how sweet he is though, He knew I’d have a rough time and he left me gifts all over the house. I got my first one before I went to bed last night – a really sweet card (and yes, I cried bawled some more). Can’t wait to find today’s surprise…

  1. Oh, wow… do I remember those days of being SO pregnant and crying at the drop of a hat (oh.. wait… sometimes I STILL cry at the drop of hat… anywhooo). My husband also somehow had out of town business trips that last months of both my pregnancies.. how does that work? On the other hand… maybe they are the smart ones to get out of the house! :)Pryaing for you!
