Can you relate? I highly recommend keeping a few “quick-fixes” around the kitchen for such inevitable (at least in my kitchen) occasions. If I didn’t forget to thaw it, I may have forgotten to buy it, and who wants to “run” to the store, three kids in tow, at a time like this. When the clock is ticking, and you find yourself standing in the kitchen unprepared, no need to throw in the dish towel, just pull out one of your quick-fix reserves and wall-ah; no stressing, no starving, dinner is served.
For more quick fix ideas, I recommend Kraft Food and Family magazine. Not only do they feature delicious quick-fix dinner solutions, but all kinds of yummy meals, snacks, treats, salads and various other recipes. This summer’s publication had several great summer fixes like the Mozzarella-Beef Burger and the Sweet BBQ Chicken Kabobs.

I don’t know about you other mommy’s out there, but it can at times get difficult keeping my priorities in line. Sometimes they sneak away unnoticed and other times I toss them over the bridge myself. It takes work to keep life balanced. Effort to keep my priorities straight. It takes sacrifice, patience and a good schedule.
